Hello, Hivers of the World! Welcome back to my blog. Have a great start to the week. I wanted to tell you that yesterday I was at Venezuela’s soccer derby—the match between Deportivo Táchira and Caracas.
The game was held in Pueblo Nuevo, so a few days earlier, I went with my mom to buy tickets. There’s nothing like enjoying a Sunday doing something different.
That day, we had an early lunch and got ready to head to the stadium. We left the house at 4 p.m. and waited for public transportation. The game started at 5 p.m. We made it to the “Redonda Aurinegra,” and the bus took an alternate route so it would drop us off as close to the stadium as possible. There was a lot of traffic, and some roads had been closed to protect the opposing team.
We walked to the stadium, and it took us about 15 minutes to get there. We bought tickets in the center stands, and once we arrived, we started looking for our seats because it was very crowded.
By the time we sat down, the game had already started. So we settled in to enjoy it. I asked my mom for her phone so I could tune in to the radio and listen to the commentary by the iconic Manolo Dávila.
To be honest, Táchira didn’t play that well this time—they only had two clear scoring chances, in my opinion. The final score was 0–0. We had a good time. I hope my team’s play improves next time.

Hola Hivers del Mundo, bienvenidos un día más a mi blog. Feliz inicio de semana. Les cuento que ayer estuve en el clásico del fútbol de Venezuela. En el Partido del Deportivo Táchira contra el Caracas.
El compromiso se celebraba en Pueblo Nuevo, así que días antes, fui con mi mamá a comprar las entradas. Nada como disfrutar un domingo de algo diferente.
Este día almorzamos temprano y nos preparamos para subir al estadio. Salimos de casa a las 4 pm y esperamos el transporte público. El partido comenzaba a las 5 pm. Llegamos hasta la redonda aurinegra y el bus tomo otra vía alterna por lo que nos dejaría lo más cerca del estadio. Había mucho tráfico y algunas vías habían sido cerradas para proteger a los del equipo contrario.
Caminamos hasta el estadio y nos tomo aproximadamente 15 minutos en llegar. Compramos boletos en la tribuna central, y al llegar comenzamos con la busqueda de nuestros asientos, porque estaba muy lleno.
Cuando nos sentamos ya había comenzado. Asi que nos sentamos a disfrutar. Le pedí a mi mamá su teléfono para colocar la radio y escuchar la narración del icónico Manolo Dávila.
La verdad Táchira no jugó tan bien esta vez, solo tuvo 2 oportunidades claras de gol en mi opinión. El marcador cerró 0-0. La pasamos bien. Espero que en una próxima oportunidad mejore la jugada de mi equipo.
