Hello to all my artistic friends on Hive. I hope you’re having a wonderful Friday. As you know, I’m a bit of a jack-of-all-trades, and I really love art. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been surrounded by it—crafts have been my hobby, my refuge, and my anchor. I’ve dabbled in music and painting on my own, and ever since I was about 10 years old, my grandmother has taught me the world of cross-stitch, sewing, and crochet.
So throughout my childhood, my youth, and my teenage years, I’ve worked on various projects—both personal projects and projects for others, as well as gifts.
This time, I want to show you a project I’ve been working on. But first, I want to give you some context about why I created it. It turns out that this last quarter of the year, my friends surprised me—they’re coming from abroad. I’d already seen each of them separately during their visits to my city. But this time, the three of us are going to be together again for the first time in almost 12 years—just like in school—so I thought about creating something for all three of us: a gift we could share.
Plus, I feel that crafting means a lot to me, because it took hours of dedication—time I spent thinking about how it would look on each of them.
I had two types of yarn, so I got to work and found a YouTube tutorial that I’m sharing with you here, in case any of you feel like giving it a try.
It took me at least a day and a half to make each scarf. But I had fun and it helped me relax. I feel like this activity is great for building patience, so I encourage you to give it a try.

Hola a todos mis amigos Artisticos de Hive. Espero que tengan un lindo viernes. Como ustedes saben yo soy un poquito polifacética y me gusta mucho el arte. Desde que soy una niña he estado rodeado de el, las manualidades han sido mi hobbie, mi refugio y mi centro. He estado en música, en pintura por mi cuenta, y mi abuela desde que tengo como 10 años me enseño el mundo del punto de cruz, la costura, y el tejido en crochet.
Así que durante mi infancia, mi juventud y mi niñes, he hecho varios proyectos. Tanto proyectos personales, como proyectos para otros y también como regalos.
En esta ocación quiero mostrarles un proyecto en el que trabaje. Pero primero quiero darles contexto del motivo de la creación. Resulta que este último trimestre del año, mis amigas me dieron una sorpresa, vienen del exterior país. Ya las había visto a cada una por aparte en visitas a mi ciudad. Pero esta vez vamos a coincidir desde casí 12 años las 3 nuevamente, como en el colegio, así que pensé en crear algo para las 3. Un regalo que compartamos.
Además, que siento que el trabajo manual tiene mucho significado para mi, porque fueron horas de dedicación, un tiempo donde en pensé como le quedaría a cada una.
Tenía 2 tipos de hilos, así que me coloque manos a la obra y busque un tutorial de YouTube que se los comparto por aquí, por si ustedes también se animan.
Hacer cada pañoleta me tomo por lo menos un día y medio. Pero me divertí y me relaje. Siento que esta actividad es excelente para mejorar la paciencia, así que los invito a realizarla.
