Feel like it works both ways, keeping a portion of your portfolio in liquidity can help you "buy the dip", but it can also cause you to miss a few opportunities. Of course, psychologically it's definitely better to have a portion in liquid assets; I wouldn't be having very good sleep if I had my entire portfolio in crypto/high-risk assets for sure.
