Hey, everyone, I came to Splinterlands just a week ago and I couldn't be more satisfied; I came across a game which is far beyond my expectations, with beautiful components, great playability and a excelent tokenomics, where you could be rewarded doing so much than just throwing cards.
Even with no help and with no rental cards, I could reach Bronze III level in just a couple days and I started to aim for the Silver given the fact that I was so close to Bronze II (I just needed to rent a few cards to gain power).
Then the server problem came and that surrender issue made me go back almost all the way back to the very beginning, leaving me at novice again. That was brutal, since I couldn't even defend my level. The more I played, the worst it was. I really should've stop battling, but I like this game so much I kept clicking the battle button.
It was only after I was novice again that I came across one post at discord telling me what to do, which was simply change the node I was using, but always remembering to login with the Hive Keychain instead with posting key or e-mail/password, for instance. The two most important things to remember are:
- Splinterlands is just starting and we have to be a little patient and trust the devs, but at the same time we have to let them know every little thing that the game could improve and everything we are struggling with so the game becomes the best card game on the entire blockchain,
- Use the discord channel to evolve in the game. Everyone there is very helpful and no ones stays without an answer to any kind of problem.
