I just want share this post especially for us Steemians who waits for our STEEM DOLLARS to go up.
California Gold Rush began in 1848.
Instagram Gold Rush began in 2017.
The news of gold brought 300,000 people to California.
The same happened when people realised that Instagram could be "gold".
There are many analogies.
In 1848 people left their jobs and homes for a chance.
In 2017 many people quit their jobs and moved out to follow their Instagram dream.
In both Gold rushes you can find 3 personas:
The Business Man understands the Game, recognise the value of the Rush and will leverage strategic advantages in the long run.
The hard worker recognises that the business man is right and he knows that with his hard work he'll be able to make it.
The Fraud doesn't work.
He knows that in front of gold or fame a lot of people can't think straight. So he takes advantage of them.
In the long term the non-greedy business men built empires.
The hard workers made and saved some money and lived a good life thanks to the acquired financial knowledge.
The frauds lasted for a few years.
They scammed people.
They lost their goods.
They killed their legacy.
Same thing is happening for many people on Instagram and Social media.
Make sure you are always talking to a Business Man or a Hard worker.
Value the long term more than the short term.
That's how you win! same as our Steem dollars.
