I've never been someone who stayed abreast of what's happening in the cosmos, at least in the sense of what sort of astrological events are occurring. I do, however, pay a lot of attention to my own energies & moods, and those of the people I interact with. I am quite an observer, and I see patterns very clearly wherever they exist.

More and more, I've found that the patterns I'm experiencing & observing end up lining up perfectly with what my astrologically-minded friends are talking about as well. This new moon in Cancer, combined with a solar eclipse, has definitely been playing with my energy for the last week or more. I've felt SO much flux, bouncing between high energy & lethargy, clarity & utter not-knowingness (I know that's not a word).

Right now Mars is retrograde, Mercury goes retrograde soon, Uranus & Pluto just completed large cycles, and we have 3 eclipses in the next month. Today is a partial solar, July 27th (full moon) is a total lunar, and August 11th (new moon) is another partial solar... Needless to say 3 eclipses in 5 weeks is not something we see very often, so it will be very interesting to see how that plays out.

Personally, I'm really just anchoring in my intentions for healing myself, for stepping into my highest power, authenticity, and pushing my edges. I'm practicing being OK with not doing anything when I don't feel motivated/energized, and I'm asking for a lot of guidance & clarity about what is next for me, what path I want to walk down for these next months.

Part of me wants to rent a room so I can build some habits of yoga & kung fu classes, farmers' market & gnostic mass, workshops & ecstatic dances... Another part of me balks at the idea of paying rent again, especially looking at how much things cost here in Portland. I have so many places I know I can go land without having to pay rent too, but they don't necessarily have these things I want access too... Maybe that's not what I'm supposed to do next, or maybe it's just another practice in acknowledging my infinite abundance and not worrying about money.
