Just clickbait then? Totally not alarming?

Just the message that I needed to share today, after watching many people, who absolutely have access, and absolutely know better, actively poisoning their children simply for "convenience."

This post, as with every post I make, is simply me sharing what's up for me, what's been in conversation a lot, the stupid shit I've had to educate people about recently, etc. The assumption (based on 5 years) is that 1-10 people will read/watch anything I put out, and 99% of those folks are good friends of mine.

How are these products contributing to the "depopulation of the world" (said with a smile and peace sign) when what some call "advances" like easy access to food have contributed to populating the world by several billion over the span of 100 years?

Well, most of those things didn't exist for the last hundred years. GMOs have been around for less than 40, most of the artificial sweeteners & flavors similarly have only existed for a generation or three, most of the vaccines on the market were created in the last 2 decades, wifi/bluetooth/5g are all within a couple decades.

Concepts like that should relax the viewer?

I have no interest in relaxing anyone. Comfort/relaxation is a great ally of apathy, and the worst enemy of progress & improvement.

One thing that bothers me is how roughly one third of all food produced goes into the trash

That has always seemed to me a clear indicator of just how hard the system has to fight to keep up the illusion of scarcity.

Would you offer these products to the starving or say it's poison and watch them suffer?

I spent years dumpster-diving and feeding people, that's actually what my very first post on Steem was back in the day: How to Feed the Masses for Free! That said, I'm still not going to feed people GMOs, processed sugars, meats, preservatives, caffeine, or anything else that my research & observation have found to be toxic to humans.

So if the parent doesn't have access to food they grew themselves, they are poisoning their children?

If they give their kids poison, they are poisoning them. I didn't mention intent, awareness, or anything else in this post, and am not making any assumptions. People in mafia-created food deserts are under a form of constant violence, there isn't food there, by deliberate design.

Those people can also move to where there is food, like every nomadic/emigrating human in history. If humans stayed in places without food instead of moving on & adapting, the species would have died out millennia ago.
