And since I can’t think of any other easy-to-germinate seed and easy-to-grow vegetable, I thought of planting String Beans! String Beans are ideal and in the season because the weather is cold and you don’t need a lot of watering every day.
When planting String Beans, you need the right sunlight to germinate quickly in just one week. Make sure the planting of String Beans is not rocky or free of stones. When there are a lot of stones String Beans do not grow well and are healthy.
Of course, the soil I used here was dry leaves and grass along with some rotting skins of fruits and vegetables. The black soil you see comes from a plastic old vase left outside by other people.
The Bean Arbor
Making a String Beans trellis is simple but you have to make sure it is durable. For when the wind blows it will not fall and the String Beans will not be damaged.
Another thing we will encounter in planting String Beans is some insects. Insects that are not easy to spot! We have a solution for this! Just water and crushed garlic! Just soak the crushed garlic in water for an hour, then strain and transfer to Bottle Spray! You can now use it to spray on the leaves! ^_^
But did you know that because my plant is so close to the wall, the lizards come down and approach the plant to eat the small insects! LOL...
These are some of the steel I saw outside, they used it for slippers and shoe holders. I used some of its pieces to serve as a String Beans crawl when it grew up.
I also wrapped by the fiber rope around both rods for the steel to make them sturdy.
I know you also noticed the pumpkin plants. The pumpkins are big and they are multiplying even more! I visit every day and observe the changes in the pumpkins.
It was nice to see the String Beans while surrounded by the pumpkin plants! LOL
