Whenever I think about the Terminator movies, I think about that scene where an android is behind bars and liquifies and flows through the bars and then reassembles into his android form. Maybe its from Terminator 2? I should look that up.

I love the scene because it visually demonstrates self assembly of machines. This is a subject that I have researched and developed a proposed implementation which I have simulated and partially actually built. Maybe someday I'll post about how this can be done.
