I'm there every day. It's fun, and a nice way to help others, which I love to do. (for example, visit @tokenfaucet)

One difference in Hive delegation versus buying HG trees is that you can un-delegate any time but you can't get a refund on trees. From the moment you buy a tree, you're under water from a strictly profit-loss point of view. You get Hive back when you water your tree but I haven't done the math to see if you can actually make a profit on your purchase price by the time the tree eventually stops paying out, which I assume it will do at some point, but I could be wrong.

Again, I love the HG game!

But remember, it IS a game. You should be there because you enjoy playing it, in my opinion. And enjoy it while it's there. Hive games don't always last very long. Not saying HG won't last. Just a general statement. If you can get a few years out of a game, I think that's a good record. Mine have been online over 2 years, and still are playable, earn-able, and able to cash out. But I understand there are reasons for whatever happens and if I risk capital in a game, I am fully aware that it could disappear tomorrow.
