God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory.
1 Peter 1:21
We seek comfort, but Jesus was born in a stable and had no fixed address.
We go after wealth and honors, but Jesus decided to live in poverty and humility.
We like to be seen in the company of important people. But he cared mostly about the unhappy and hurt for life.
The apostle Peter reminds us how the life of Christ was: "He did not sin, nor was deceit found in his mouth; who, when cursed, did not respond with a curse; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but commanded the cause to the one who judges righteously "(1 Peter 2: 22-23). This attitude denounced that of the men of his time, for that reason the people did not want it and responded with hatred to their love. They crucified him!
The greatest contrast can be seen on the cross! When the hatred of all was raging against him, the infinite depth of God's love was manifested in favor of us, beings full of evil. Jesus brought upon himself the punishment for our sins, for our outrages against God!.
