Proverbs 17:22
The cheerful heart is a good remedy; But a broken spirit dries the bones.
Emotions are a passing mood, this means that it comes and goes; but there are those who cling with some emotion, so this stops being transient.
For example, if you feel sad about something that has happened to you and you do not want to let go, it transforms into a deep sadness and if that feeling continues to dominate your moods, it will reign in your life.
King David had many problems, but he declared: "The LORD is my strength and my shield; In him my heart trusted, and I was helped, For that my heart was glad, And with my song I will praise him "(Psalm 28: 7)
We can verify this biblical theory through science. Studies have shown that many diseases that humans suffer from are related to those negative emotions that affect our organs and tissues, these emotions are: hatred, anxiety, sadness , fear, anguish and loneliness.
Science has also discovered that positive emotions heal an example of them is joy, it has been proven that being cheerful stimulates the immune system and makes us stronger.
The gentleman also knew all this that nowadays the science discovered the already before hands more than 2000 years ago had left written in the bible saying:

In our walk there are difficult moments that we have to face and not stay there stuck in order to avoid that sadness takes over us as well as any other feeling that can confront us as resentment hate.
When we cling to the word of God we can see that healing divides an example of grasping us is the thought of Paul which tells us that in all things we are more than overcomers through him who loved us. For which I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor the present, nor the future, nor the height, nor the deep, nor any other created thing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. " Romans 8:37 to 39
We can understand that he has made us more than winners and that for this reason our heart should be happy and not let the sadness dry our bones, we must understand that whatever the circumstance God is at our side he is able to heal all of restore.
