My 3am build...
Newly fashioned from harvested parts from a microwave, this little transformer packs a huge punch!
I have been searching for something to power my various coils for experimentation purposes, and this setup is looking promising. Next to add a capacitor bank, a controllable spark-gap and safety-gap, then she is ready for a test run on a small Tesla coil. I have already constructed a cute little house for it which has a window and interior light and will post more pix and vids of the progress. Until then, I leave you of this video showing the very first time it worked tonight, although unexposed and not yet hardwired, it demonstrates a few large electrical arcs, ionizing the air into a streamer of plasma... A very deadly, yet very beautiful display of energy.
