In today's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday, I carefully selected 3 songs that help me find 'Peace' whenever I have them play through my earphones.
I'm not getting any younger and there are tons of dreams to be achieved. In the midst of all these, we face so many chaotic situations in this country. So, whenever an opportunity presents itself, I like to have as much peace as possible. Hehe.
Let's get to the magical tunes on my list for this day. These are the songs that calms my mind;

That's the exact line in this song that hits the spot whenever I hear it resounding in my earphones. There is something about the tone used to sing this particular song. It gives me an effervescent feeling about my life.
This song was released in 2005 and it recently got into my playlist, all thanks to the special recommendation I got from a very special someone. Hehe.
You know, I genuinely think I have a special reaction to any song released by Sia. She just doesn't step foot in the wrong place and I've been a big fan of hers. There are tons of her songs I enjoy listening to whenever I want to relax my mind. This one is just one of those songs.
You did not break me...
I'm still fighting for peace
That's exactly what you would expect from Sia. She's one tough lady and her success in the music industry is a testament to her resilience.
The first time I saw the title of this song and the name of the artist, I was completely blown away by the mere realization that Nicki Minaj could drop a song like that. Wow!
Of course, I believe y'all know that this isn't to take anything away from the kinda song Nicki is usually known for. Those are also cool if you enjoy rap songs. But 'Grand Piano' is an entirely different kinda hit. Nicki killed it and the music video is also clean.
There is something unique about each of these songs which makes me fall in love with them. The calmness it brings to my mind, even if it's just for a moment, makes a huge difference in my life.
