Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.
For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organised by
@ablaze for all music lovers. Hehe. Catch the full gist about that HERE.
In today's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday, I carefully selected 3 songs that drive me into a thoughtful mood whenever I have them play through my earphones.
You know how things are with music... Some of them drive you into deep thoughts and wishful thinking. It makes me wonder if the things I truly fantasise about would work out according to my fantasies.
Let's get into the tunes already;
Listen to that and tell me how a gem like that was released 18 years ago. Wow! Just, wow! This song is evergreen and it always hits the spot every time you listen to it. Even the music video was nicely shot with scenes that will get you emotional.
It's not very often you get to see musicians talk about their personal life in their music. I guess that's one of the things that makes this song an interesting one. Eminem pulled an emotional string with this apology song directed to Hailie and Alaina. Check it out for more details.
Upon research, I got to know that this song was released back in 1976 馃く. Haha. That was far before my birth, yet I'm still vibing to this song and I don't see myself getting bored of it anytime soon. There is something about these old songs that makes them evergreen.
Interestingly, this song was recently added to my playlist. I didn't know about this song or any band group called Kansas. But I got to see the first two seasons of Supernatural during Christmas/New year celebration. That was how I got to hear this song. It's been a joyride with this since then.
Here comes another song that was released in 2005. Haha. We are already in 2023... Do the maths. The song is still hitting hard and the music video is also clean.
The best part of this song is the message. It's all about love and the expression of genuine affection towards that special someone. It's one of those songs I grew up listening to, but the message didn't stick until now. That's an incredible song. It was recommended to me by a special someone and it felt like a completely new song now that I'm understanding the lyrics Haha.
This is where we will draw the curtain on today's edition of #TTT. Stay happy wherever you are and keep those around you happy with your genuine love and empathy.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma
