Hello, it's Valentine's Day! This is also a three-tunes day. It seems like there are so many things to celebrate within this 24 hours. Hehe. C'mon, let's have a blast.
For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organised by
@ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.
Since today's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday coincides with the reputable Valentine's (lover's/friendship) day, it's only right for us to select 3 songs that sends cool message about Love and friendship. Hehe
How about you check the tunes out and have them on repeat as you spend quality time talking with the person that makes your heart skip beats? Hehe. The tunes are as follows;
I've noticed that whenever I'm consciously digging through my playlist for songs, I end up picking those 'old songs'... The ones I remember listening to when I was still a kid. This one was released back in 2007. Hehe. I don't think the lyrics made any sense back then, but it makes so much sense now.
The message in the song resonates with me on multiple levels. It talks about a guy that was going through a rough patch, but his life took a positive turn after coming in touch with an amazing lady. Hehe. It makes so much sense and I know so many guys and ladies alike can say the same about their partner.
Some met their partner when life was hard on them, but their partner shined a light in their life. A light that will 'hopefully' shine bright forever.
The first line though... What is it about lovers and their dream of experiencing the kinda love that is similar to what we see in fairy tales? Haha. It's interesting to see how most of us fantasize about such type of love experience.
This song was also released in 2007. A masterpiece of a song. Pay very good attention to the lyrics as you listen to this song. You can also check out the music video for the best experience. Hehe. You will be glad that you did.
Oh, my! "Cold, cold heart" is everywhere. Still... "No sacrifice, at all"
This song is as old as it gets. It dates back to 1989 and the jam is still evergreen today. I can't get enough of it and the message it sends is something we need to have on repeat in this age and time where the rate of infidelity, break-ups, broken homes, and divorces are skyrocketing.
While the first two songs count as the dream desire of anyone going into an intimate relationship or marriage, this particular song by Elton John is a clear reminder that we have a big role to play in nourishing our relationship and building it to last forever. 'Sacrifice' is the word. Never to be forgotten in all relationships.
That's pretty much all the songs I have to showcase in this edition of #ThreeTuneTuesday. Spend the rest of this day and week doing things that will heighten the love that exists in your relationship.
C'ya in next week's edition of #ttt.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma
