Exercising everyday. I do this stubbornly and by choice. It’s not even hard anymore simply because it’s as ingrained as tying my shoes.

People make fun of me for this, and I’ve come to enjoy that. An ounce of consistency is worth more than a pound of shame.

I choose to shamelessly exercise. If you’re going to be shameless about something, you might as well choose something beneficial, right?!
quitting sweetened beverages. With so many healthier options (I personally love La Croix and Perrier), why would you ever drink Coke/Sprite/etc..?)

Carbonated water is bubbly delightful, and just one more reason why life is so damn awesome.
Starting a business that I really enjoy. I never get bored anymore. Before I started my business, I would sit on the couch like a lumpy potato, thinking what the hell am I doing with my life.

Mehh. Glad that’s over with. Boredom ages you.
Putting effort into making friends. I am energized by collaborating with friendly hard-working people. We feed on each other’s energy and mutually benefit.
Spending more time with family. If I work 100 hours a week and don’t spend time with family ( I have done this), I lose a purpose for what I do.

Have you ever ground yourself out for a few weeks, with little social interaction? If you have, you’ll know exactly what I mean, and why it isn’t worth it.
Eating junk food. This is counter intuitive (especially to point #2), but I allow myself to eat the occasional junk food because often I do so at social gatherings.

My relationships are more important to me than following a diet or eating plan. Also—I rarely turn down a meal with good people. :)

Yesterday I ate not one, not two, but three lunches because many of my friends were around and celebrating 4th of July.

Life is too short to pass up those opportunities, especially on a holiday. :)
