Hello dear friends,
I happen to pass by a pile of wild weeds and saw something purple that caught my attention, though these are one of the most underrated wild weeds nearby, I wanted to have this in a pot.

The touch-me-not or makahiya in our native tongue as the old folks says that it is a sensitive plant because it suddenly folds inward and drooped when it gets shaken or touched.

I like to try this herb as an indoor plant and see if it will last to stay that way because that cottony purple flower looks sweet and dainty.

This shy weed was used to ease pain, heal wounds and cure fever.

It majorly possesses antibacterial, antivenom, antifertility, anticonvulsant, antidepressant, aphrodisiac, and various other pharmacological activities. The herb has been used traditionally for ages, in the treatment of urogenital disorders, piles, dysentery, sinus, and also applied on wounds. see it here

As old folks consider it as medicinal.
