A couple of days ago I replied to a Tweet from rapper SouljaBoy telling him to create his own crypto on Hive.

I dubbed it SouljaCoin. A pretty obvious name, but my intention was to point out to him that this is something he can do.

(In fact, I can see a lot of celebrities doing it in the future. I imagine at some point it will catch on and we will have celebrity token fever.)

Anyway, he tweets out later asking about how he can make SouljaCoin a reality.

Anyway, I'm not sure which blockchain he has decided on yet, as even though there have been a few mentions of SouljaCoin in the news, they only reference the tweet and there isn't any new information yet, it seems. @theycallmedan, if you've heard anything since, let us know. No mention of hive anywhere!

So I think some of us should get on Reddit and maybe the comments of some of the news sites and remind them, don't you? Just Google "SouljaCoin" and find some places to speak your mind about Hive.

Anyway, even if SouljaBoy ends up creating his token on Ethereum or some other platform, we will still be creating links to Hive content, which is good for SEO and organic discovery of Hive.

And there will be more big time content creators coming to Hive, along with many more of their fans and other content consumers. I've realized from this, the more you push buttons, the more likely to push a button that does something.
