It has been said, 'If there is an offense in this section, if the crime is related to pistols, revolvers, rifles, shotguns or other firearms, then the life sentence or any other harsh penalty whose tenure is less than ten years. 'If the case is not filed under the Arms Act then the whole case will be lightened. Even if there is a lawsuit under Arms Act, there must be an attachment to the case filed with the police. Otherwise, the correct results will not be available. "
On October 27, 2016, Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) evicted illegal shops from the footpath and roads in Gulistan. At that time, the hawkers and other groups of DSCC employees and a group of youths were in the dock due to counterattack and collision. At one stage, rising firearms from the youths, Sabbir Hossain and Ashikur Rahman fired blank shoots. In connection with the shooting, BCL and Ashik were expelled from the organization. Four days after the incident, a case was filed against the BCL expelled leaders. Sub-inspector Abdul Mannan filed the case with the Shahbagh police station against the unidentified 50-60 people including the two. After the firing incident, Sabbir and Ashiq ran for some days. The letter was written to the Immigration Police on November 1 of the same year for the accused to not flee the country. In the same year, on December 15 that year, the police submitted a letter to the Dhaka District Magistrate to know whether the accused had licenses for firearms in the same year. But the weapon is not legal or invalid, it is not mentioned in the police and the chargesheet. Meanwhile, Sabbir and Ashik appeared before the court on 17 November 2016 and took bail. The defendants escaped bail. Then the court on 4 December rejected bail in their absence. Again, on February 12, 2017, when the accused appeared in court, the court sent them to jail. On February 13 again, the two armed men came out of bail. Since then, Shabbir lives in his home in Siddiqbazar area of Bangshal in the capital.
