Having a wonderful maine is a thing of pride. If you like it, then wear it! If for reasons related to job or school you need to trim it then, guess what, that's okay as well.

It depends on you. Would you like to keep up the routine of care you currently have with it? When I was younger I really let my hair grow and found myself hating the extra care, having it short makes it easier to maintain :)
