Oh, this broke my heart! I almost believed Jesslyn's letter myself but Sadie knows her daughter well enough to sense that something isn't right. It's heartbreaking that Jesslyn feels she has to maintain the appearance of success rather than admit how badly things have turned out. She doesn't want to disappoint her mother yet she's struggling to survive. The pressure of living up to other people's expectations can be such a heavy burden. I hope she finds the courage to reach out for help before it's too late.
