Your review makes me want to watch this movie for more than Frances McDormand's acting. It sounds like one of those quiet films that stays with you. Many of us fear losing loved ones or the lives we are used to because we then have to figure out who we are afterwards. It's a hard journey but the message is clear that a person can learn to live differently rather than stop living altogether.

That's why I admire Fern. Her life on the road seems to be her personal way of surviving grief, something I don't think her sister or the woman with the daughters understand. You capture the beauty and sadness of her journey so well in your review. I wouldn't mind an intermittent nomadic lifestyle. It sounds like an adventure. Thanks for sharing.
