DIY- Mickey Mouse keychain [ENG/ESP]

Amigos crafteros , artesano, me complace estar de nuevo por acá, con una nueva manualidad. Me encanta hacer manualidades , es mi momento de desconexión total del mundo, aquí si me hablan no escucho, no hay problemas que me atormenten, no hay hambre, solo estoy felizmente concentrada en lo que estoy haciendo. ¿No les pasa? Es totalmente desestresante.

En esta oportunidad les mostraré el paso a paso para hacer en fieltro un llavero alusivo a Mickey Mouse. Así que agarren hilo y aguja que ¡vamos a coser!

In this opportunity, I will show you the step by step to make a Mickey Mouse keychain in felt. So grab thread and needle and let's sew!

Primero empece con la mano, marqué el patrón en el fieltro blanco. Se necesitan dos piezas.

First I started with the hand, I marked the pattern on the white felt. Two pieces are needed.

Con marcador azul hice un sombreado.

With a blue marker, I made a shading.

Uní las dos piezas. Cocer con hilo blanco por toda la orilla usando puntada de ejecución (----------). Se puede hacer el contraste con hilo en vez de marcador, también quedaría perfecto, usando hilo azul o negro.

Join the two pieces together. Stitch with white thread all around the edge using running stitch (----------). You can contrast with yarn instead of a marker, it would also look perfect, using blue or black yarn.

Cuando esté cociendo, dejaremos una abertura para introducir el relleno. Luego en el centro de la parte superior de la mano, vamos a coser una tira que doblaremos por la mitad como se ve en la imagen, esto es para colgar la mano en la anilla del llavero. La cinta que utilicé fue cola de ratón azul marino, también puedes utilizar colores que vayan de acuerdo a la figura que estamos creando, en este caso, es un llavero que representa a Mickey Mouse por lo que podemos utilizar colores como el rojo, amarillo, negro, blanco. Para la cinta, podemos utilizar cualquier color que cumpla con la funcionalidad que queremos.

When it is baking, leave an opening to introduce the stuffing. Then in the middle of the upper part of the hand, we are going to sew a strip that we will fold in half as shown in the image, this is to hang the hand in the ring of the keychain. The ribbon I used was navy blue mouse tail, you can also use colors that go according to the figure we are creating, in this case, it is a keychain representing Mickey Mouse so we can use colors like red, yellow, black, white. For the ribbon, we can use any color that meets the functionality we want.

Los detalles negros fueron pegados primero con silicona y pensé en dejarlos así, pero no me gustaba como quedaban, además, con el pegamento en algún momento se podían despegar. Así que con hilo negro cosí estos últimos detalles de la mano.

The black details were first glued with silicone and I thought I would leave them like that, but I didn't like the way they looked, besides, with the glue at some point they could come unstuck. So, with black thread, I stitched these final details of the hand.

Ahora, continuamos con las otras piezas, la cabeza y los pantalones de Mickey Mouse. Realizamos el mismo procedimiento que en la primera pieza. Marcamos los patrones en los fieltros correspondientes, fieltro negro para la cabeza y rojo para los pantalones.

Now, we continue with the other pieces, the head, and pants of Mickey Mouse. We perform the same procedure as in the first piece. We mark the patterns on the corresponding felts, black felt for the head and red felt for the pants.

Unimos las dos piezas del pantalón con hilo rojo y la cabeza con hilo negro utilizando la misma puntada corrida, introducimos el relleno, colocamos la cinta y cerramos nuestra pieza completamente.

We join the two pieces of the pants with red thread and the head with black thread using the same running stitch, we introduce the stuffing, we place the ribbon and we close our piece completely.

Los pantalones tienen dos botones amarillos, para ello, no utilicé fieltro sino foamy amarillo escarchado y pegado con silicona.

The pants have two yellow buttons, for this, I did not use felt but yellow frosted foamy and glued with silicone.

Metemos las tres piezas armadas en la anilla y ya tenemos listo este bonito llavero.

We place the three pieces assembled in the ring and we have ready this nice key ring.

¿Qué les pareció? ¿A poco no está lindo? A mí me ha gustado el llavero, ya he cambiado el que tenía. Lo que me gusta de las manualidades que os enseño es que no las hago por hacerlas, sino que intento que sean útiles y que pueda utilizarlas y no parar en el olvido por allá metidos en un cajón o a la basura.
