Happy Sunday Hivers!
There are plenty of wildflowers growing in our garden. My mother decided not to remove them because they sprouted among our sweet potato plants. She didn't want to pull them out since doing so might disturb the sweet potatoes' roots. So, we simply left the wildflowers to grow naturally.
As more flowers bloomed in our garden, I noticed that bees and small butterflies started visiting more often. This morning, while I was checking the garden, I spotted a bee flying from one wildflower to another. It would land on one bloom, then quickly move to the next, seemingly foraging for nectar.
I enjoyed watching the little bee as it busily went about its work. Then I realized I had my phone with me, so I carefully tried to capture the moment. It wasn't easy because the bee kept moving from flower to flower, but I patiently followed it, hoping to get a few nice shots before it flew away.
I moved as slowly and quietly as I could so I wouldn't disturb it, but the bee never stayed on a single flower for long. It would only pause for a few seconds before flying off to another bloom.
After a while, the bee flew to another flower that was a little farther away, tucked away in a quieter corner of the garden. It almost seemed like it had noticed me following it, so it moved to a more secluded spot. Still, I quietly followed, hoping for another chance to capture a better photo.
I kept trying to get a nice close-up shot because I wanted the bee to be the clear focus of the picture. Unfortunately, that wasn't easy. It barely stayed on one flower before quickly flying to the next, making it quite a challenge to get the perfect shot.
Honestly, I didn't manage to capture the perfect shot because it was constantly on the move. Even so, I was happy to snap a few photos and enjoy watching this tiny pollinator at work.
Thank you for reading and see you on my next blog. Cheers!
