Happy Monday Hivers!
How did you celebrate your Valentines Day? Have you dined out with your friends; families or special someone? How was it?
I know today is a Valentines Day. But I didn't spend it with my family nor friends. I travelled to Dumaguete or known as The City of Gentle People alone.
As we navigated to Dumaguete Island, We can only see ripples on the sea because the weather was pretty good. The whole trip was peaceful since there were only few passengers aboard and therefore, I like it so much because when I'm in a huge crowd it really makes me sick.
We arrived in Bato Port at around 4:00P.M and we departed at 4:30P.M. The sun was already setting while we were navigating. I was not able to hold my excitement as I saw the sunset, I immediately grabbed my phone and took photos of the sunset because it was really magnificent. Do you like it too?
After I had checked-in, I went outside to have my dinner. The Dumaguete boulevard and the restaurants nearby were bustling. Restaurants were full of customers and the boulevard was also full of crowds.
I still roamed around although the crowd made me feel sick because I wanted to see how Dumagueteños and Dumagueteñas celebrated this special day.
While walking, I have seen different group of people who were busy doing different things. Like; I saw this mother and child eating together.
I've also seen group of teenagers bought an ice cream and busy eating while they were talking with each other.
Have you seen the family in photo below? They were busy having video call with someone.
I walked further and I was able to see a balloon seller. Children were busy asking their parents to buy balloons for them.
As I slightly turned my head, the young lady caught my attention. She carried a huge teddy bear with bouquet of flowers but she just stood beneath the aesthetic lights alone.
I was not able to feel exhausted while walking because I enjoyed watching different people having fun with their friends; families and special someone.
Like these people in a photo below. They were just having fun with friends.
Now you can imagine, how crowded the Dumaguete Boulevard was. Look at the crowd under the aesthetic lights. Most of them were group of teenagers.
And this people who were busy selling balloons.
Although I spent my Valentines Day alone but I've never felt lonely because of the different things I had witnessed. I enjoyed walking in the boulevard and taking photos. That's how I celebrated my Valentines Day.
