Blog #124: Dining at Kadlawon Restobar and Trying the Best Seller Mixed Berry Cake at Cafe Cadlawon
Hey Hivers!
I woke up early in the morning on my second day in Bantayan Island because I wanted to see the sunrise in Kota Beach. My Landlord instructed me to buy some foods in Kota Beach (Cadlawon Restobar) so that I can access in their beach resort.
As I arrived in Kota Beach, I informed the Security Guard that I will be going to have my breakfast at their restaurant, he just replied that the restaurant will be opened at 7:00AM but he added that I can stay in the beach while waiting for the restaurant to open. Of course, I was really happy since that was really my plan.
After I was strolling around in the wide shoreline (I will be going to feature Kota Beach in my next blog), I felt hungry so I decided to check the restaurant if they were already open. Luckily, they were already ready to serve customers as I arrived.
As I entered inside the restaurant, I have noticed that they were using bamboo mat as their ceiling. What I love inside the restaurant is the fresh plants they've placed. It gives the place a relaxing vibe.
I was the second person who arrived in the restaurant, if you have noticed that the atmosphere is quite and peaceful it's because by the time I arrived they were only have 2 customers inside including myself.
I was really starving so I decided to eat a full breakfast. When I am really hungry I will always opt to order a Filipino cuisine. I ordered 1 set of Filipino cuisine that is composed of plain rice; longganisa; and scramble egg. I also ordered hot tea.
They added a slice of tomato and cucumber in my plate.
And I also got a free mango.
When I saw a cafe beside the Kadlawon Restobar, I went closer to the store and as I checked their display I saw a mixed berry cake. The attendant recommended that flavor to me because that is one of their best sellers. It was absolutely delicious.
Although I spent Php430.00 ($8.6) for only one meal that time but I didn't regret because I was satisfied of the food that I had eaten.
