Hey Hivers!
Do you know that Samboan has many Waterfalls?
Samboan has many spectacular waterfalls. The residents of this town never experience water scarcity because they are abundant of water. In fact, some baranggays will only pay Php15.00/month as their payment for their monthly water consumption. I don't know if this applies to the entire town.
For those who've missed to read my post about my Aguinid Waterfalls experience last week, you may check this link.
Today, I will be sharing with you another picturesque waterfalls I had visited last Saturday. This is still under the jurisdiction of Samboan. It is different from Aguinid Falls because this waterfalls is so high and there are no different levels to conquer.
This tourist attraction is run by the local government and currently it is closed. However, as I arrived in the information area there were male teenagers and other children in the area and asked me if I will be going to Dau Falls. Although the information area is closed but these teenagers will accompany you to Dau Falls.
From the information area, we hiked around 30 minutes going to Dau Falls. We'd crossed in a steep stairs and grassy road. You should be careful and always watch your steps because you can't clearly see the road due to the presence of tall grasses.
The road going to Dau Falls is creepy and not safe. It is too narrow and slippery. I was slipped many times but luckily the guide was able to hold me.
These are some of the difficult roads you will be going to cross before you will get to Dau Falls.
While we were hiking going to the falls we'd crossed to some beautiful spots and I was tempted to captured photos. Truly, nature has its own unique beauty.
As we have seen this scenery, my guide told me that we are almost reach to the falls. I have already seen people bathing above. Although I was exhausted and my upper body was already covered with sweats, I didn't care because all I wanted is to see the stunning beauty of Dau Falls.
The road going above is more difficult. We slowly walked and focused our mind on the road.
I was in awe as I stood in front of Dau Falls. It is truly high and beautiful. All difficult roads we'd passed by were paid off because of this stunning beauty.
Have you been to Dau Falls? How was your experience? Drop a comment below.
Thank you for reading and see you on my next blog. Cheers!
