I started coin collecting when my grandpa gave me a Morgan dollar. I researched it to find the value and history on the coin and I was very fascinated by it. I asked my grandpa where he got it from and he replied, “I got it from my coin collection”. When he showed me his bag of 500 Morgan dollars, I was mesmerized.

Now I buy, trade, and find different types of currency. I collect American, Russian, Belizean and other denominations of coins and banknotes. My favorite coins are silver but I collect coins of all compositions. Some coins I own are rare such as the trime (three cent coin) with less 50 million in the series while other coins such as the steel penny (1943) have a high mintage of over a billion coins.
