The Cryptopian Future
There seems to be a direct rift between the two philosophies. An army of bankers, stock traders, agents, investors and money changers look at cryptocurrency with dollar signs.
On the other isle, there stands a firm and devoted minority of decentralized people with a vision who counts their crypto in bananas.
Which side will prevail? I know this answer. Do you?
There is a war going on right now and this war is fought with battles of math. White hat and black hat hackers duke it out. Developers pump and dump as ideas and true innovative projects are poor while the centralized projects get all the financing they can possibly get.
Does a developer deserve millions of dollars for an idea without a single line of code? No.
I would rather be broke and free to use my money as I wish than rich and oppressed by the power elite. I want freedom. I want decentralization.
I know decentralization will win. Centralized projects will continue to flop as you cannot mix decentralized and centralized and expect it to work. It's like punching yourself in the face again and again. Wake up. It's not going to work.
It's time for you, a soldier and early visionary in crypto to pick a side. We don't need to resist these centralized projects and there certainly doesn't need to be violence. There just needs to be a line in the sand. A Boycott if you will. Boycott the centralized crypto projects like you would Boycott central banks.
It's time to build the decentralized infrastructure that is needed for cryptocurrency to advance as a truly decentralized solution. It's time for decentralized exchanges which allow easy trade between individuals and businesses. It's time for decentralized marketplaces to thrive.
This line in the sand is literal. You cannot work with centralized forces and progress on decentralized projects. There is a divide and there needs to be. Consensus is a good thing, not having consensus is just as important.
There is a war. The fog of war has left many disillusioned and blinded by the mustard gas of deception. There are a lot of good people in crypto still. I have met them. I continue to do so.
These battles are being fought in forums, marketplaces and between social media constructs. Are you to be a brick in the wall built to keep you in control or will you be the tunneler mining for freedom?
We can build a better system. We can build a truly balanced Cryptopian future in which a more perfect and fair society can advance many principles of decentralization of the past.
We can have flying cars. We can have free energy. We can have free freedom. Freedom should not cost anything. Do not confuse freedom with serfdom. Freedom is Free.
To be decentralized or not to be decentralized. That is the question.
You know the answer.
