Here's a project I've been working on for a very long time...

I have finally settled on a technique for creating digital art based on my own original photos in a style that looks and feels right to me. The idea has been to create a painterly look, with a simplified style and vibrant colours. Each image has several layers of filters applied and adjustments made by hand - this was not single-click process. Three separate programs were used on each image.

If I had to talent to make oil paintings, this is the style I would aspire to... but I don't. All I have is my camera and computer. Please take a look at what I've come up with and let me know what you think of it.
