I thought I'd share this as I've been bombarded with people asking for help on this subject..
1- Wait for fork (August 1st - August 2nd in Australia)
2- Create a second wallet for your BTC
3- Move BTC from wallet1 to wallet2
4- Wait for confirmation
5- Import wallet1 keys to BCC wallet and get my BCC coins and stop using wallet1, because they now may have my wallet1 keys, but btc coins are safe in wallet2
It's actually really straight forward, just be sure to follow these steps, and don't give ANYONE YOUR PRIVATE KEYS FOR YOUR ACTUAL BTC WALLET!
