Never in my life did I ever think that my parents would be buying a boat! My dad has called them "money pits" on multiple occasions, and so never in a million years did I picture him buying one. Saturday afternoon, I got a text from my dad, "Call me ASAP". So I call him thinking that something was wrong, but to my surprise he says, "I'm buying a boat." I headed from the beach house to Mike's Marina to check out the boat he was talking about buying, a 19' Key West, with a 115HP Yamaha on it.
Needless to say, I am pumped about this! Today at 2:00 I am leaving work early to head down to the coast to test drive it before it is official! After that we will be headed to the beach house to spend the 4th down there!
