It is another beautiful day in the land of the living and i thank God for giving us the opportunity to be alive today.
Welcome to my daily prompt today where i will be writing on the importance of going to medical check up.
Meanwhile before i proceed i will like to give a little definition of health according to world health organisation . WHO defined health as a complete mental physical and social wellbeing of an individual and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Now according to this definition it is very important for us to know that no one is completely healthy,even if you are healthy body wise ,there are still other minor challenges facing each and everyone so that is why the said it is a complete, so no one is completely healthy if I should say.
And many of us found it very difficult to visit the hospital,they believe that going to hospital is for only those who have symptoms of diseases over them . With this thinking, those people are really getting it all wrong because medical check should be very necessary in our lives , we are ought to visit the hospital and check our health status at least once in three months so as to know the condition of our system. This ignorance of not going to check up is what almost all of us are involved likewise me writing this post though i go once in a blue moon. Medical check up is very necessary and we have to take it serious because it has so much benefit will really help our body and keep it fit .
Ignorance to our health is really a very bad and dangerous thing that lead to so many things . Meanwhile some diseases can be in the body for years without showing you any symptoms and when this happens,when it manifest it's symptoms it is always a dangerous one , this is why medical check up is very necessary so as to identify these diseases on time and know how to control and manage them.
