Preventive measure in healthcare is one thing that needs to be respected, there are so many other stages / phases in healthcare but preventive measure is very important.
Like it is said that prevention is better than cure , that is very true and has a very important advantage in our various health and its care.
There are many preventive measures in which are carried out in order to protect individuals from infections and illnesses.
One of these measures includes immunization ( also known as vaccination).
Immunization is the out of boosting ones Immunity in order to protect him from infectious and other kinds of diseases.
It is a preventive measure because it protects people from diseases.
Why prevention is important in healthcare is because through prevention diseases are being reduced from spreading and also it protects so many people from contacting diseases thereby putting the entire society at a low risk of disaster from disease contamination.
Prevention is very important because it reduces the level of exposure to some dangerous illnesses.
Meanwhile in healthcare prevention is the first thing to do because when one does not practice preventive measures properly it will lead him to getting ill and landing him to a phase of healthcare called curative meanwhile it is very good and better to practice preventive measures so as to protect yourself from getting into curative phase .
Though there is what is called health-illness continuum, here it is just telling us that in an individuals life there is a time of illness and also there is a time of being sick, an individual cannot be healthy throughout his life time there must be period of illness and period of health but despite that we are out to practice preventive measures so as to reduce the phase of illness and improve that of health to a better level.
Preventive stage /phase of healthcare is one thing we don't have to joke with just for example hand washing, many people have looked down on this aspect of preventive measure without knowing that is one of the most important preventive measures we have this is why world organisation has made it a routine that we wash our hands under a running water after handling procedures.
Hand washing under running water is very important and will save us from being contaminated from disease.
