Hello wonderful people! My name is Jacob Dadzie, People around me popularly call me “Deco”. I got this name as a nickname when I was in Junior High School, form 2. This is a name of a former Barcelona and Chelsea football player called “Deco” who was very good player in the game in those days around 2006. Having underscore this, it is right clear that I love football and do follow it virtually and also play with friends on weekends to keep fit and healthy.
I am the Second born in a family of four (4) Children. I live in Agona Nsaba in the Central Region of Ghana where I am working as a Child Development Worker. This is a Church Partner Project my Compassion International. I have been doing this work since February 2019 after graduating from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Although I read Engineering, the Child Development Work is the First work I laid hands on and ever since, I have been committed to doing it very well with all my strength and all my mind as though I am doing it for the Lord. The Picture below shows some of the Children the Project recruited when they were around three (3) years old from very poor homes in the communities around. These Children are all now in their youthful days and they are in different Tertiary institutions across length and breadth of the Country.
Aside the Child Development Work, I am also a lover of Agriculture. I own my own farm where I cultivate different kinds of both short term crops like maize, Plantain, cocoyam and Pepper. I have also started a Cocoa farm which will take like 3years before I will start harvesting.
I Love Church and I serve in my local Church, which is the Church of Pentecost. I am the Local Financial Secretary and also the District Youth Secretary. I help in proper and prudent management of Church funds and also organizing the Young people in the Church for prayers and outreaches. I also help in Cleaning around the Church and mobilizing resources to Support the young ones in the Church. The Picture below was taken with some friends after Church Service last Sunday.
I love to follow anything that is genuine and also something that will add value to myself. I love to know more about finance and Investments. I have a little foundation on forex trading from @Pelebos and I am still eager to make some strides through that journey. I love Technology and infact I don’t ever want to be left behind in this fast evolving world.
