This year taught me a lot about limits. Remember when you were a kid, And it seemed like a day lasted a lifetime? Or when you think you'll be able to knock out your whole to-do list, But the reality is, you just don't. And you just put way too much on it? There are limits, And the better you can understand them. The more you can benefit.
It seems that society frowns upon what is shown as "weak." Having limits, Not okay.
But the reality is we all have those limits. And it's nothing to be ashamed about, Heck, When we are open about the limits we have. We can then figure out how to delegate people, Or work with others so we can all use our strengths to our advantage. When we are fully aware of what we can do in a day, We can use that to our advantage by picking out things that are most important.
You are not weak for having weaknesses, But strong because you are honest about them with yourself. We all have weaknesses whether we like it or not, and by being aware, we can focus on improving and learning from them.
When we pretend we don't have weaknesses, It causes us sometimes to feel we are better than anyone else who chooses to be open about it. It also prevents you from having a full understanding of yourself.
When we have limits in one area, we can often pursue another area, It helps us balance ourselves out, and it will make it much easier for us to get still what we want, Even if we may not have the skills in that one area.
Many of us have standards in one way or another. Sometimes it can be hard to communicate our standards to others who may not fully agree with our choices. Having standards can allow us to gain respect from others. Because they know we won't be walked on, and we aren't afraid of being ourselves.
Having limits and weaknesses is part of who we are as humans, It's okay, And there is nothing to be ashamed of. Being aware of your issues can allow you to become stronger and more confident in who you are so you can find ways to accomplish your goals despite your imperfections.
