Having recently returned from a short trip to Tasmania, I am uploading a few photographs from my travels. The first was taken from my hotel, The Grand Chancellor, which takes pride of position overlooking Hobart wharf. From it, I was easily able to visit the theatre, where I attended an excellent production of "Mary Poppins", the Broadway musical.
I was fortunate to be in Hobart for the stunning triple moon spectacular - viewing a lunar eclipse, a blood moon and a red moon against the background of a crisp night sky in January, all from my hotel window.
A cruise ship can be seen from the shore.
And here, my favourite exhibit from MONA, (the Museum of Old and New Art), located in Hobart - the founder, David Walsh's, wife, Kirsha's car.
All photographs taken using a really terrible smartphone, which I happened to drop in the bath one day, this event adding to the overall blurry effect.
