There has been a lot of turmoil in the cryptocurrency markets - a lot of froth and bubble by mainstream critics. They are wrong. They are working within a world that is fast escaping their control, and they don't know how to react. New blockchain technology is here to stay. Yes, there are scammers about and a host of silly coins have been offered - many to fold. But it's an amazing marketplace - a true virtual reality playing field. It is utterly fantastic, a place where anything is possible. I can put links to videos of where I live, and in real time, people can view them. For instance, the video I am attaching is of snakes mating above the swimming pool deck off my verandah at Crystal Creek. The deck was damaged in floods caused by Cyclone Debbie in March this year. For northern hemisphere readers, a cyclone is the same as a hurricane, just spins in the opposite direction. The clip shows a pair of carpet snakes. After the dance, they retreated to the sanctuary of my roof space by crawling up the drainpipe. I assume there will be many in a short time. LOL.
Anyway, back to the virtual reality of the amazing cryptoverse. I have read about a new coin in development - a wificoin. It works a bit like Sia, but a person rents out their excess wifi :-) and equally, can hopefully access the spare wifi of other holders in the vicinity - a great idea if you're travelling, and the idea has spread sufficiently. The developers haven't worked out yet how to make it secure from crypto-vultures. I can just see a world of services that eliminate the middle man opening out to the savvy uptaker.
I am inspired to buy a better camera for sharing pictures of where I live.
The recent crytocurrency chaos just made me more determined to hang onto mine.
I really enjoy reading everything that fellow Steemians share. It's so much more egalitarian than other social media sites. Full steem ahead....thank you for sharing the journey with me thus far.
