The markets don't give me near as much FUD as fears of misplacing my wallet keys....sending my coins to the wrong address, or simply losing them into the ether, as I have done with a Neo I sent, paving the way for its buddies...hazarding one on the path over the Misty Mountains...it lost its way.
FUD to you means a different thing to me.
I don't like reading disingenuous admin warnings like, "follow these steps, if you miss-key, you've lost your precious - tough titty!" Not the exact words, of course, but how I interpret them. They serve as an insurance disclaimer, of sorts.
What about an insurance coin? Huh? I'd buy into that .................. ................. I guess, how do you administer it?
If coin offerings want to expand their markets, they have to allow for the average IQ - with up to 50% operating at or below that rank. You need simplicity and a double portal......make it to the first - then a check and double-check system - and a means to cancel or get it back before its
g-o-n-e. I guess that means a recognition system, or a handshake on the other side.
As a high-school teacher, I always have to spell it out, not once, not twice, but at least three times, and also get the students to write it down. Then I ask questions to see if it sank in. There's always some bright spark not paying attention.
So what about some insurance? A ditsy coin for the ditsy-impaired?
