Se trata de un mini Grinch elaborado en la técnica de Amigurumi.

Today I am super excited to share with you my weekend project. I am so happy that I was able to finish it to show it on our Needlework Monday.
It is a mini Grinch made in the Amigurumi technique.
Hace bastante tiempo que no me animaba a tejer amigurumis, debido a que mi mayor debilidad es hacer el rostro. Nunca quedó conforme con las caras de mis muñecos. No obstante, en esta ocasión le puse mi mayor empeño y la verdad es que quedé muy satisfecha con el resultado final.
This project fills me with joy because I have always wanted to make a Grinch, as that is what some of my friends call me. However, this time the Grinch is not for me, it is a request from my younger sister who is a little more Grinch than me.
It's been a long time since I had the courage to knit amigurumis, because my biggest weakness is making the face. She was never satisfied with the faces of my dolls. However, this time I put my best effort and the truth is that I was very satisfied with the final result.
To fulfill this very special request, I spent a lot of time looking for the ideal pattern and also for a good tutorial that I could follow to the letter to get the best result. After watching several videos, I decided on this short and chubby Grinch that looks a bit cute. Following the tutorial was very easy and I managed to make the head and the body without much complication. When it came to giving the expressions to the face, I took my time and followed all the instructions very carefully. I must say that the person who makes the tutorial also explains that for the first time I have been happy with the face of one of my amigurumis.
The body of this Grinch is shorter and chubbier than the original movie character. This is a slightly cuddlier and funnier version. I can't wait to give this mini Grinch to my sister and see her reaction. I am so happy with the result that she will most likely knit one for me too.

Knitting this doll has made me want to keep trying with amigurumis. I hope to find more video tutorials on how to achieve the expressions and facial features. The amigurumi technique is really beautiful, but also very delicate, so I really admire all my NeedleWorkMonday colleagues who excel in this technique. I hope to continue learning and sharing with you.
