Aunque en Venezuela estamos pasando una de las épocas más calurosas que hemos vivido con un sol muy intenso y abrasador, yo aún recuerdo con cariño los bonitos días de primavera que vivimos en la ciudad de Lima, donde abundan las flores y el buen clima en esta época del año. Es por ello que estoy creando una colección de llaveros y accesorios inspirados en la primavera. Hoy les comparto unos llaveros a los que llamé "Happy spring"
Happy and blessed Needlepoint Monday my dear and appreciated fellow crafters of this beautiful community. I wish you an excellent week and a great start of the month. We are already in month number 10 and that means that we are getting closer and closer to Christmas. However, in some Latin American countries, they are still enjoying spring, my favorite season of the year.
Although in Venezuela we are going through one of the hottest seasons we have ever experienced with a very intense and scorching sun, I still fondly remember the beautiful spring days we lived in the city of Lima, where flowers and good weather abound at this time of the year. Today I share with you some keychains that I called "Happy spring".
This keychain model is trending in social networks, I had already seen it many times with different motifs and I really wanted to make my own version, this time with flower motifs to be part of my spring collection of keychain bags and accessories.
The pattern of this keychain is quite simple, it only consists of making a small base in the shape of a bag where the key is hidden. A pendant is placed around the center long enough to allow the key to be taken out and hidden. On top of the base is placed the motif we want, which can be appliques of flowers as in my case, but also appliques of animals or any other motif that comes to mind.

It is really very entertaining and relaxing to knit this keychain pattern. To speed up the process it is best to weave all the bases, then all the appliqués and finally assemble all the pieces and attach the key ring. I can tell you that I really liked this pattern, I think I will try it later on with animal appliqués to see how they look.
