El d铆a de hoy les comparto un nuevo tejido relacionado con mi proyecto de frutas y vegetales a crochet. En esta oportunidad se trata de unos bonitos limones amarillos.

Today I share with you a new knitting related to my crochet fruits and vegetables project. This time it's about some nice yellow lemons.
When I started with this idea of knitting fruits and vegetables, I did not imagine that there would be so many, however, every time I look for new fruit patterns, I come across some fruits that I had not taken into account at the beginning of the project. Such is the case of the Lemon, I had not noted this fruit on my list, but when I saw images of knitted lemons I found them very cute and certainly a fruit that can not miss in this project.
Generally, lemons are green and some are of a very particular yellow color, so particular that there is even a color called lemon yellow. Well, I didn't have that color in my box of knitting yarns, but I didn't really want to knit them in green, since I like the way they look in yellow, so I decided to knit them with the only yellow yarn I had available and the result was quite acceptable.
The pattern is quite simple really. I just took as a reference an image from Pinerest and although I didn't have any graphics I managed to get the shape of the lemon without any complications. I also managed to make the leaf with the same pattern I've used for the leaves of the other fruits I've knitted so far. These lemons can be used as appliqu茅s for pot holders, kitchen towels and even on an apron, but they are also ideal for making coasters, if we make them a little bigger.

I must say that I'm really enjoying this project, it's nice to discover new fruit patterns that I have yet to knit. I will try to make as many fruits as I can find patterns, maybe my only limitation may be to find the exact yarn colors or more similar to the vegetables that are missing, however, I will continue with this project and I will continue to share my progress.
