The revolution went so far as to glorify its false social achievements, stressing that Venezuela had become one of the least unequal countries in the world. Rampant hyperinflation, thanks to bad economic policies, disintegrated the value of the local currency and has managed to equalize all Venezuelans. Yes, everyone is equally poor and going through the same shortages and needs thanks to this bad and nefarious government that the only achievement it has had is to increase hunger, misery, injustice, loss of values, separation of families, among other things.
What a cruel reality and what a pain to see what my country has become, it is hard to believe that the richest country in Latin America today is practically in ruins, it is sad to know that many die daily from hunger, lack of medicine, because of crime. And the worst thing is that nobody does anything, or we do nothing to change this.
Venezuela is my country, a country of great wealth, with many resources, but unfortunately they are being misused by our bad rulers, where the vast majority of us go through the difficulties with courage, effort, passion, strength and determination to move our children forward.
I am often asked why I am still here, why I have not left is a legitimate question, I understand it, many ask me even with the concern of seeing that I "do not react" yet, especially my best friends who are already living in other countries and are stable with their families.
And my answer I give myself every day, because every day I find the meaning of being here, I find it because I look for it. I try to do what I like, I love my work, I try as much as possible to relate with good people, I try to add and contribute to whoever I can and I also try to make things happen, they do not happen by themselves, on the contrary, it is quite difficult to go through the economic crisis, especially the problem with health that nowadays it is a luxury to get sick in our country since medicines are available but at unaffordable prices. But in spite of everything we have to be optimistic and find the sense to all these circumstances that we have had to live, I am still here as long as I can contribute with my work, with my effort, with my desire to move forward and continue fighting and always keeping the faith and hope that everything will improve, that VENEZUELA will be restored and very soon and everything will return to how it was before.
