I was surprised that you haven't written on your blog for a longer time, but you've come up with a lot. I'm glad that the blisters got better thanks to the spring and that you were still allowed to come along. How cool that there was even a small pool for children! :) 39 to 40 degrees is definitely a lot, everyone would have gotten very hot :)
