A Day in Aringay

HOME is a beach resort located in Samara, Aringay, La Union. It has a wide adult pool and a kiddie pool. It has rooms for checking in and tables for those who want to avail day tour only.

Cozy reception and restaurant. After parking, one has to go through the reception for registration and to get stamped.

And by stamped I really mean it. 😁

It has a playground for kids and adults also.
Although we didn't have the time to play here because our kids just wanted to swim. Maybe next time.

For those who are looking for other activities besides swimming, there is a small basketball court and an area for playing darts. There is also a billiard playing area for rent at Php200.00 an hour.

HOME is not beach front but it is less than one minute walk to the beach.

This looks like an old dike that may have been destroyed by the waves.
It is so peaceful and calm that the dogs are already taking their afternoon nap. Siesta?

The beach of Aringay is very suitable for swimming. The water is shallow and gradually goes deeper. When we went there, the waves are not that strong. It was so fun just staying in the water, waiting for the waves to come and riding in them.

We waited until the afternoon before we went to the beach to avoid too much sunburn. We stayed in the beach from 3 pm to 5 pm.

After our afternoon swim, we want back to the resort to shower and prepare to go home. The resort has separate clean shower rooms for male and female. It also has a shower area beside the pool.

We enjoyed our stay in the resort and it's true: Time flies so fast when you are enjoying.
