I applied for 2 jobs in Web3
One application was sent yesterday and the other one today.
I was not actively searching for a job, but I thought that I could be a good fit for these two.
I feel a little bit unsure about the outcome, there are many talented people out there.
I am also growing, so maybe a younger generation will be preferred to certain jobs.
One of the jobs is for a part time community management and the other is full time in social media.
I have created a different cover letter to each of them, and I ll be honest, I also used AI but I fed it with very specific prompts.
Also, I edited both of the cover letters a lot, using my own tone of voice, because I am really starting to understand it immediately when I read AI and I am sure others can understand it too.
It will be very interesting to see if I am even invited to an interview, or if I receive any feedback at all.
I answered all questions, but one.
In one of the jobs, they requested for a portfolio/personal website.
I did not want to lose any time creating one from scratch, but I think that for someone who wants to appear more professional, this is absolutely necessary
At the moment, I would think of creating a business portfolio / website using the free version of Canvas, or hackmd (there are also other options like notion, wix etc) and perhaps in the future use an own domain. Maybe even a linktr.ee would be ok for starting.
Do you have a business portfolio?
Are you looking for a new job? What is your working status?
A few days ago I shared some web3 jobs and in the next days I will also post some new ones I have seen (I will share them on X, so feel free to follow me there https://x.com/katerinaramm1)
