Cloud computing is a computing model that allows access through the network, convenient and on demand to a set of shared computing resources that can be networks, servers, applications, storage spaces or services.
These resources can be quickly supplied or released with minimal effort of management or interaction by the provider of the same. Examples of cloud computing are storage services such as dropbox or google drive, where the user keeps all the files avoiding the need to acquire large storage devices being the provider who has the physical systems and who manages them. Another example widely used are collaborative work tools such as google docs where different users can share documents and edit them online simultaneously.
