Read this before delegate SP (steem power) to Smartsteem

A few days ago i made a delegation to @smartsteem but when I didn't receive any benefits, decided to take them over. My surprise was huge when was not returned, ask in smartsteem discord channel and @therealwolf told me that it took 7 days. Ok, my fault for not reading, this information was on the web.

But this raised a question that I did next in the discord channel and that has not yet been answered:

What justifies keeping my SP blocked during this period? Not being able to dispose of this SP causes me a loss during this period of time.

Does smartsteem have any plan to compensate in some way the people who are in my same situation?

If anyone can shed some light on this matter, any comment will be welcomed.
