On Sunday I dropped Eden off at the airport, for her to go home to her family in Cyprus after being in South Africa for a whole year.
We started the day having breakfast with her Dad at our favourite restaurant BemBom. And then went home to chill as much as possible before I had to drop her off at the airport.
On the way, we have were chatting about a huge step I need to make in my career, and the various steps I need to take to visit her in Cyprus soon. The conversation was a sad and hard one - filled with so many uncertainties but midway, Eden told me to look up and we saw this building with a sign that said Jesus = Love. It gave me all the surety I needed.
Tough day, and the lines were long at the airport but I’m glad she’s on her way safely to visit her family whom she misses so much.
